Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a PRN Hospital Pharmacist for PAM Rehab Hospital of Henderson, NV. This in-person, part-time role covers PTO/vacation and after-hours on-call with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and one week of on-call per month.

The Pharmacist II will verify orders, dispense medications, supervise technicians, and manage compliance tasks related to accreditation and narcotics control. Nevada licensure in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada pharmacist license in good standing.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call as needed.
• IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and dispenses medications in the hospital setting.
• Supervises Pharmacy Technicians and ensures compliant, efficient operations.
• Manages narcotics and inventory control with proper documentation.
• Collaborates with nurses and physicians to verify orders and obtain needed information.
• Supports accreditation processes and implementation of new systems or procedures.
