Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Georgia or eligible for reciprocity.
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school.
• Hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, evaluating literature and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Provides patient counseling on therapy, adverse effects, adherence, and proper use of medications.
• Designs and monitors patient- specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on literature and policies.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Participates in medical emergency management when applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities within the department.
