Job summary

Madisonville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Weekend Warrior program. Earn premium pay by joining an attentive team dedicated to resident-centered care.

You will assist with daily personal care, support independence, and help maintain residents' physical and emotional well-being in a collaborative, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' personal care, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed and support a team-focused culture.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long‑term care setting is preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred
