Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bardwell, KY seeks a Weekend Warrior CNA to provide compassionate care for residents on weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
• Must maintain current state CNA certification.
• Must pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' daily needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Take and record vitals and assist with transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNA's are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.




• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.




• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.




• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.




• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.




• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.




• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.




• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA




• Must be able to pass a Drug Screening
