Job summary

Spring View Nursing and Rehab in Kentucky seeks a Weekend Warrior Certified Nursing Assistant to join our clinical team. This full-time role covers weekend nights (7pm–7am) with premium weekend pay and a supportive, team-focused environment.

The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff. Active CNA certification and one year of long-term care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain an active CNA certification.
• One year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' daily living needs (bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating).
• Take and record vital signs; assist with lifting and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain an active certification as a CNA.
