Spring View Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend Warrior Certified Nursing Assistant to join our clinical team in a fast-paced long-term care environment. This full-time weekend night role offers the chance to earn premium pay for weekend work while delivering compassionate resident care.

CNAs provide essential daily care, document vital signs, and collaborate with nurses to ensure resident safety and comfort. A supportive, team-focused setting awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Active CNA certification required.
• Compassionate, team-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs; assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain an active certification as a CNA.
