Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents in our Columbus, Ohio branch. The caregiver will provide compassionate daily assistance, adhering to each resident’s care plan and maintaining dignity and independence.

Qualified candidates hold an active CNA license, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication and time-management skills. Weekend shifts are available, with full- and part-time benefits options depending on status.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
