Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant in Worthington, OH to support residents with daily living and care plans, delivering compassionate help that preserves dignity and independence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication, organization, and time management skills to handle multiple priorities while caring for residents, including those with dementia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training or education as states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
