Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division in Middlesex, NC seeks a Carrier Builder for the Weekend Daylight shift. The role runs Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with a 40-hour weekly schedule and hourly compensation of $21.47.

You will perform hands-on work to support production, complete carrier repairs for braiding cells, adjust tension, and coordinate with operations to meet timelines while adhering to safety and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing or mechanical work.
• Experience using measurement tools like calipers and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble braiding carriers and reassemble them to working condition.
• Troubleshoot carrier failures during repairs.
• Change carrier tension using springs per run order.
• Coordinate with production to meet tension needs and rebuild demand.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety policies.
• Use e-factory to track carrier run times.
