Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to help people with disabilities learn, work and participate in their communities. Based in person-supported homes, DSPs provide daily caregiver assistance including meal prep, personal hygiene and medication administration, while supporting therapeutic plans with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
• Based in person-supported home and contribute to mission-driven care.

• Weekend Night Shift, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 PM - 9 AM
