Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to help people with disabilities learn, work and play in their communities. Based in a person-supported home, DSPs provide daily caregiving, including meal prep, personal hygiene and medication administration, and support community involvement with clinical staff.

Shifts available include Weekend Day 9 AM–9 PM and Weekend Night 9 PM–9 AM; starting pay is $15/hour with tenure pay, annual bonus, shift premium on

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance quality of life.
