Easter Seals Tennessee Inc seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities thrive in daily living, work, and community activities. Based in our person-supported homes, you’ll provide daily care, meal prep, personal hygiene, and medication assistance, making a real difference every day.

We offer a starting wage of $15 per hour, tenure pay scale, annual bonus, shift premium on weekends, health and life insurance, and a 403(b) plan with generous PTO, supporting

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Support individuals in community activities.
• Collaborate with clinical staff on therapeutic and behavioral plans.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone’s life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
