Easter Seals Tennessee Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people with disabilities learn, work and participate in daily life. Duties include daily activities support, meal prep, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.

Based in Tennessee, DSPs may work various shifts, with weekend premiums and opportunities for growth and benefits such as health and retirement plans. We value a caring attitude and are committed to equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene.
• Assist with medication administration as directed.
• Support individuals in the community and facilitate community involvement.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans.

Shifts Available:

• PT Day shift - Mon & Tues 1PM-3PM, Wed 9 AM - 3 PM Thurs 9 AM - 11 AM
• Full time second shift
• Full time third shift
• Weekend Day Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 AM - 9 PM and 9 PM - 9 AM

Our Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone’s life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
