Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is hiring Elderly Befriender Care Assistants to support clients at home across Norfolk and Cambridge and locally. Roles require availability 7am–10pm with alternate weekends, and immediate starts are encouraged.

The position offers £15 per hour with enhanced pay options and full induction and ongoing professional development. Driving licence and right to work in the UK preferred. Training will be provided to new carers.

Our client is expanding their team and looking for caring, compassionate Elderly Befriender Care Assistants to support clients living at home with a range of needs throughout Norfolk and Cambridge and in your local area.

They currently have care vacancies available with immediate starts.

Profession: Elderly Befriender Care Assistant

Pay: £15 per hour (£16.81 earned wage including holiday pay) with working availability during the week and alternate weekends

With clients needing a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening support. Our client currently needs Elderly Befriender with availability to support their clients between 7am and 10pm, the more availability you have, the more client visits they are able to allocate to you. They accept availability of 7am - 2pm, 7am - 6pm, 9am - 10pm, 2pm - 10pm, 6pm - 10pm, and 7am - 10pm (preferred).

All their Elderly Befrienders work alternate weekends to ensure continuity of care to their clients and typically work between 10 - 35 hours per week depending on your requirements.

They are looking for candidates who may already have experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Elderly Befriender or in Domiciliary Care.

They would also love to hear from anyone who has experience caring for loved ones or been a volunteer. They would encourage you to apply as an Elderly Befriender Care Assistant as full training and support will be given.
