Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security officers on a college campus setting in Cambridge, MA. Schedule is Saturday-Sunday (8am-4pm) with pay of $24.00/hour.

The role ensures post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed to meet client requirements. Responsibilities include coaching staff, training, payroll support, coordinating coverage, and maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Security Officers and leads; ensure post orders are followed.
• Ensure rounds are completed and reports filed; notify authorities/clients in emergencies.
• Coach and discipline personnel; document actions and seek guidance as needed.
• Train Officers; review post orders and assignment details with staff.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submission.
• Coordinate post coverage with management and ensure client security requirements are met.
• Prepare and submit required reports; inspect posts and outline tasks for subordinates.
• Meet with client representatives to discuss security and provide quality service.
• Perform supervisory duties including interviewing, directing work, and performance appraisals.
