Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security personnel at a Cambridge, MA campus setting. The role requires ensuring post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and incident reports are filed.

You will coordinate with client reps and management to maintain high standards of security service. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience, with strong supervisory and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related security experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel on client sites and ensure post orders are followed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; meet with employees to document actions.
• Train Security Officers and review post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submission to the company.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts and outline tasks for subordinates; meet with client representatives for service quality.
