Job summary

Kelvion, a global leader in heat exchangers, is seeking a Brazing Technician for the Weekend PM shift in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role ensures units are brazed and assembled per the correct drawings and routings, maintaining 5-S within the department and supporting production schedules.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering on prints and BOMs, ensure correct parts are issued, and follow all safety and quality standards as part of Kelvion's Standard of Excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1 year brazing experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, routings, BOMs, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in brazing department goals and ship orders on time per prints.
• Coordinate with engineering to revise prints or report discrepancies on routers or BOMs.
• Ensure correct parts are issued and follow manufacturing drawings.
• Follow process control plans, routings, and work instructions.
• Maintain 5-S in the department.
• All other duties as assigned.
