Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Production Associate I in Knoxville, TN to perform basic mechanical assembly under supervision, learn core processes, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support senior assemblers as needed.

This is a Full-Time position in Knoxville, with a 36-hour schedule paid as 40 hours and comprehensive benefits. You will read drawings, use hand tools, follow routings, and help with basic assembly tasks as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimal experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform basic part cleaning and preparation using hand tools and portable grinders.
• Assist with drilling, tapping, and reaming operations under guidance.
• Install simple moving parts (e.g., bearings, fan blades) and verify free movement.
• Assist with tube insertion tasks as directed.
• Position parts manually or with lifting equipment after training.
• Maintain 5S standards, including tool organization and work-area cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions at all times.
• Exhibit professional demeanor. Read, understand, and follow routings and work instructions.
• Read basic Manufacturing Drawing / Prints.
