Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks an Assembler (Brazer) Technician to assemble units on the production line using prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams. The role involves brazing copper and other metals, wiring, and adhering to safety and quality standards while meeting production schedules.

The position requires reading blueprints and CAD models, performing high-voltage wiring, and using Windows-based systems and CAD platforms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units using hand tools per specs.
• Braze and solder copper, brass components per fabrication needs.
• Braze for refrigeration and water circuits per print.
• High voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams to modify units.
• Ensure completion of quality and production checklists.
• Enter information into Windows-based and CAD systems.
• Operate overhead hoists and material handling equipment.
