Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a skilled brazing operator on an hourly non-exempt basis in Georgia. The role involves brazing components on an assembly line, setting up equipment, and maintaining precise control to join copper pieces.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience brazing CU/CU on an assembly line.
• Basic understanding of data charts, diagrams and work orders.
• Ability to determine required equipment and settings.
• Requires precision control and dexterity.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain stationary for extended periods.
• May be required to take related training or pass skills tests.

Responsibilities

• Guides torch and rod along joint of work pieces to heat to brazing temperature, melt braze alloy, and bond work pieces together.
• Assists with setting up equipment, selecting torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy based on data charts or work order.
• Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.
