Job summary

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER OF NORTHWEST OHIO INC is seeking a Behavioral Technician for part-time weekend coverage in Findlay, OH. You will support residents with daily living skills, implement treatment plans, and assist with crisis stabilization under supervision.

You will oversee meals, hygiene, and medications while coordinating activities to promote recovery. The candidate should have a GED, a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Willing to work weekends 2nd shift (Fri & Sat 4pm-12am).
• CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, HRIS, EHR and other online systems.
• Willingness to submit background check, drug testing and fingerprinting.
• Experience in a residential environment.
• Knowledge of psychological disorders and related behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct care of residents during designated hours.
• Oversee residents during meals, housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene; monitor progress on treatment plans.
• Oversee residents' medications and ensure safety and compliance.
• Observe residents' behavior and communicate with the team; encourage participation in treatment.
• Facilitate programming using evidence-based behavioral management techniques.
