Job summary

Truist is seeking a Customer Service/Relationship Specialist in New Jersey to deliver timely client transactions with accuracy and strong service. You will handle complex and standard transactions, educate clients on digital banking, and support sales through outbound calls while aligning with IRM strategies.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and weekend/extended hour availability. Regular benefits and incentive pay are included as part of Truist's competitive compensation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs, including locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with a high service level during transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions and online banking.
• Support sales by outbound outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
