Job summary

Hach Company, a Veralto company, is seeking an Area Manager for the Weekend Shift in Colorado to lead manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement. This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires hands-on leadership of a weekend team dedicated to meeting safety, quality, and delivery goals.

You will coach and develop associates, translate orders into build plans, and implement data-driven actions that improve Standard Work and SQDIP performance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience: 1 to 3 years in project teams or staff supervision.
• Experience applying Lean methods (Kaizen, Kanban, root-cause analysis).
• Experience with machining, injection molding, or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Experience using operational data for analysis and reporting.
• Experience leading work with safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities to meet customer, safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity goals.
• Coach, train, and develop associates; manage performance with HR.
• Translate orders and capacity into build-and-ship plans.
• Create data-driven action plans to improve Standard Work and SQDIP.
• Allocate labor, expand cross-training, and improve staffing flexibility.
• Lead projects with planning and technical teams on process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and work practices.
• Support policy deployment and monitor area budgets.
