Job summary

Hach Company, part of the Veralto family, seeks a Distribution Area Manager in Romeoville, IL to lead the distribution team and drive continuous improvement using Lean tools. The role demands daily supervision, policy deployment, and collaboration with order management to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of direct management experience, a BA/BS is a plus, and strong communication. On-site work with a comprehensive benefit package is offered.

Qualifications

• Availability to work the 1st shift (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with direct management experience.
• BA/BS degree a plus.
• Ability to communicate with Sr. Leaders and Associates.
• Scheduling, planning and project management with strong time management.
• Data-driven problem solving and reporting skills.
• Lean manufacturing experience (Kaizens, Kanban, root cause counter measures).
• Basic financial understanding.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Spanish nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily supervision of distribution staff (~30) to meet demands.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost improvements with Lean tools.
• Develop daily/weekly build and ship plans to meet on-time delivery.
• Execute policy deployment and long/short term goals with ERP tools.
• Evaluate performance and mentor staff; partner with HR on development.
