Job summary

Hose Master, a family-owned manufacturer based in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Area Leader to drive daily operations in our Ohio facility. You will own work flow, lead safety, quality checks, and team performance to meet delivery targets.

You will mentor operators, coordinate labor and equipment, participate in Lean Daily Management, and escalate issues to maintain flow, efficiency, and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Good basic math and mechanical skills.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, dial calipers and micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of work order progress, ensuring jobs flow efficiently through the department and meet delivery targets.
• Drive a results-oriented culture, setting the pace and expectations for daily execution and throughput.
• Lead by example in upholding all Safety requirements and company guidelines.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve issues that impact delivery, quality, or safety.
• Maintain and verify calibrated equipment and tools are in proper working order.
• Coordinate labor and machine assignments to hit daily production goals without sacrificing quality.
