West Star Aviation is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift. The role involves performing mechanical tasks, panel removal, troubleshooting, engine work, de-fueling, and operating ground support equipment in a fast-paced hangar environment in East Alton, IL.

Qualified candidates will have an Airframe or Powerplant license with varying experience levels and must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-6 years of aviation maintenance experience depending on level (AMT I–IV).
• FCC/aviation maintenance standards familiarity a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft as needed.
• Engine removal and installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist in aircraft movement and performance taxi runs.
