RTX is seeking a Bench Mechanic for a weekend shift at the North Berwick/Wells, ME site. The role trains candidates with little machining background to become a Certified Operator at Pratt & Whitney, operating air tools and performing deburring, polishing, and inspection of aerospace components.

Learn from operation sheets and travelers to set up equipment and verify part conformance with precision instruments, with on-the-job training and clear advancement opportunities in aerospace

Qualifications

• High School or GED.

Responsabilités

• Learn to operate air tools, hand picks, and polishing wheels for routine production operations on aerospace components.
• Set up equipment based on operation sheets and travelers for deburring, brushing, cleaning, and washing operations.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator Certification to accept/reject parts.
