Benchmark Therapies is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for The Long Community in Lancaster, PA to support residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living. The role emphasizes consistent weekday hours, with flexibility to fit community needs.

You will administer PT under a licensed PT, help residents improve strength and mobility, and coordinate with the therapy team. Strong communication and a compassionate approach to older adults are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with.
• An interest in working with older adults.
• Consistent weekday availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Work with residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, and independence.
• Follow individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs and goals.
• Work closely with the PT and the rest of the therapy team.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Get to know the residents you work with and help them stay active and confident in their daily routines.
