Job summary

Yorkhealthpa in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a flexible PRN role within their in-house therapy team. The PTA will provide treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and offer personalized care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a current PTA license in Pennsylvania and be eager to contribute positively to a team-oriented culture focused on meaningful outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license required.
• Indirect License Preferred.
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and/or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and strength.
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate with the supervising therapist.

Education

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team
• Accurately complete treatment documentation using Net Health
• Maintain compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations
• Support a positive, resident-focused therapy environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license required
• Indirect License Preferred
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and/or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the rehab team
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations in SNF settings are encouraged to apply
