Benchmark Therapies is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join The Long Community in Lancaster, PA. You will provide PTA services to residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living, under supervision of a licensed PT, with a focus on strength, balance, mobility, safety, and independence.

This position offers consistent weekday hours and regular weekday availability, with flexibility to fit the community’s needs. Prioritize collaborative care within a supportive therapy team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license.
• Interest in working with older adults.
• Consistent weekday availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatment under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Work with residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, and independence.
• Follow individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Work closely with the PT and the therapy team.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Get to know the residents and help them stay active and confident in daily routines.
