Job summary

Nursing & Rehabilitation at The Mansion in Sunbury, PA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide PRN or part-time coverage at our skilled nursing facility. You will work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to support residents in regaining strength, mobility, and independence.

The role includes delivering PT services, assisting with evaluations and care plans, and educating residents on exercises.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services per scope of practice and clinical standards.
• Assist Physical Therapist in evaluations and care plan development.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and mobility interventions.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques.
• Document treatment sessions and communicate with rehabilitation team.
