Wedgewood Weddings in Shelby, NC is hiring a Wedding Sales & Coordinator (Catering Sales Manager). This full-time role drives revenue, plans and coordinates weddings from start to finish, and delivers exceptional client experiences.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in catering or event sales, strong communication, and a passion for weddings. Weekend and holiday availability is required; you will work with Salesforce and Microsoft Office to keep flawless records.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• 2+ years of catering sales, event sales, or hospitality preferred; college degree is a bonus.
• Outstanding verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for sales, weddings, and the hospitality industry.
• Team collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Drive revenue growth by meeting sales targets and upselling.
• Client relationships: Build strong connections with couples and guide them through the process.
• Event Coordination: Manage weddings and events from start to finish.
• Administrative tasks: Maintain event details, contracts, and documents in Salesforce, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Problem Solving: Tackle challenges quickly with a positive attitude.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate event staff to deliver exceptional service.
