Qualifications

• High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
• At least 2 years in hotel service or sales experience preferred.
• Outgoing personality and professional appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to meet sales goals.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on Wedding and Catering markets.
• Learn the hotel brand and sales strategy.
• Drive customer loyalty to grow account share with service excellence.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, emails, and in person interactions.
• Negotiate contracts for food & beverage, function space, room rates, and services to meet revenue goals.
• Achieve all predetermined sales goals for revenue and activity.
• Negotiate contracts according to company standards.
• Complete solicitation, closing, and client communications documentation.
• Conduct tours of the hotel and banquet facilities; entertain qualified clients as per policy.
• Provide prompt responses to RFPs and information requests.
