Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals.
• Respond to questions about products and suggest bakery items.
• Prepare bakery items including wedding cakes using proper equipment.
• Check product quality and monitor sell by dates.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies.
• Label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise.
• Maintain safety and health compliance.
• Understand the store layout and locate products for customers.
• Report discrepancies in inventory and ordering.
• Adhere to health, safety and loss-prevention policies.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
