Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineer to design and own backend services supporting the Wallet, Tokenization, and Web3 platforms. You will work on scalable systems for crypto and tokenized assets, ensuring correctness, reliability, and smooth cross-chain operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in backend development using languages such as Go, Python, or Java, with a solid grasp of cloud-native architectures.
• Strong grasp of system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Care for correctness-critical systems—idempotency, reconciliation, and reasoning carefully about failure modes when money is at stake.
• Strong ownership mindset, with a track record of delivering high-quality projects end to end in cross-functional environments and raising team-wide technical standards.
• Proven ability to simplify complex problems, make sound tradeoffs, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Interest in blockchain fundamentals—EVM, smart contracts, wallets, on-chain settlement—or a strong appetite to go deep quickly.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and infrastructure across Robinhood Wallet, Tokenization, and Web3 platform systems, with correctness and auditability as hard requirements.
• Build the connective tissue between traditional market infrastructure (brokerage, ledgers, corporate actions) and on-chain systems, including smart contract integrations, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
• Develop product‑facing features and platform enhancements that meet strict correctness and scalability standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate closely with product, compliance, client, platform teams, and external partners to deliver impactful technical solutions.
