Job description

About us:

At Remote Talent LATAM, we connect top Latin American talent with leading U.S. marketing agencies. We guide businesses and candidates through every step of the hiring process, ensuring the perfect match in skills, culture, and goals. While we're not direct employers, we act as a trusted partner, bridging the gap between exceptional talent and growing opportunities

Our Client:

Our client is a digital marketing agency specializing in helping businesses grow through strategic marketing, website development, and conversion optimization. The team brings together expertise across web design and development, SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and digital strategy to help clients improve their online presence and business performance.

What you will do:

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Web Project Manager to oversee website development and optimization projects from initial planning through final launch.

In this role, you'll coordinate clients, Account Managers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure projects are well-planned, properly resourced, delivered on time, and within budget. You'll take ownership of project outcomes, anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and improve workflows.

While hands-on development isn’t required, you should have enough technical knowledge to communicate effectively with production teams and keep projects moving forward.

Responsabilities:
Project Planning & Management:
  • Manage website development and optimization projects from kickoff through launch, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and clear milestones in collaboration with internal specialists.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines, client needs, business impact, and team capacity.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, workflows, task assignments, and deadlines in Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Coordinate handoffs between Account Management, SEO, CRO, design, development, analytics, and external production partners.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and potential delays early, taking ownership of solutions before they become larger issues.
Client & Internal Team Communication:
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to manage day-to-day project execution and ensure expectations are aligned.
  • Communicate project status, schedules, deliverables, approvals, and responsibilities clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Help translate technical challenges and production updates into clear, actionable communication.
  • Manage scope changes, additional requests, client delays, and revision cycles, communicating their impact on timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure team members and external partners understand their responsibilities, priorities, and next steps.
Website Development & Optimization:
  • Coordinate website redesigns, landing page development, and ongoing website improvement projects.
  • Work with SEO, CRO, UX, design, and development specialists to translate recommendations into actionable project plans.
  • Understand fundamental CRO and UX principles, including conversion-focused design, user experience, and website performance.
  • Ensure projects account for SEO requirements, analytics and tracking, quality assurance, and other technical considerations before launch.
  • Coordinate reviews, testing, approvals, and quality checks to support successful project launches.
Vendor & Resource Management:
  • Coordinate external developers, designers, and production partners based on project requirements, availability, capabilities, and budget.
  • Establish clear expectations regarding deliverables, deadlines, hours, and quality standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance and proactively address recurring issues related to communication, quality, or timeliness.
  • Assess team capacity and resource constraints to ensure projects are realistically planned and properly staffed.
Budget & Process Improvement:
  • Monitor project budgets, estimated versus actual hours, and resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify scope creep, excessive revisions, inefficiencies, and potential budget overruns, recommending corrective actions when needed.
  • Support project profitability by maintaining realistic estimates, efficient workflows, and clear accountability.
  • Conduct project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and refine workflows, documentation, templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • At least 3 years of relevant project management experience in website development, in an agency environment or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate cross-functional teams, and consistently follow through on deadlines.
  • Experience developing project plans, managing timelines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication English skills, including the ability to communicate with clients and translate technical information into clear next steps.
  • Technical understanding of website development (Wordpress) workflows to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other specialists.
  • Ability to manage external vendors, set expectations, and hold partners accountable for deliverables and deadlines.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, with the confidence to identify problems, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • Comfort working in an environment where processes may still be evolving and where independent judgment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency or a website development environment.
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management platforms.
  • Exposure to WordPress, website redesigns, landing pages, SEO, CRO, UX, or analytics and tracking requirements.
  • Experience monitoring project budgets, estimated versus actual hours, vendor costs, and project profitability.
  • Experience improving workflows, building SOPs, and implementing processes that help teams operate more efficiently.
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST.
  • Salary: 3,000 USD Monthly
  • Location: 100% remote, open to candidates based in LATAM
