Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Marketing & Privacy Engineering team to build high-traffic web experiences and support measurement, privacy, and marketing integrations. You will work with React, TypeScript, and modern tooling to ship reliable features while collaborating across Product, Design, Analytics, and Data Engineering.

You’ll contribute to scalable web products, own growth opportunities, and participate in the interview process while helping ensure privacy requirements

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue).
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript.
• Able to turn simple problems into multi-component solutions with well-tested, extensible code.
• Comfortable navigating a large codebase and providing code reviews.
• Demonstrates growth mindset and proactive feedback with teammates.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks, deliver in phases, and collaborate for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to discuss constraints and decisions.
• Support operations by creating/monitoring metrics and handling on-call duties.
