Job summary

AFFIRM is hiring a Software Engineer II for the Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) team. You will build high-traffic consumer web experiences using React/TypeScript, contribute to experimentation, instrumentation, and marketing integrations, and collaborate with product, design, analytics, and data engineering to ship reliable experiences with privacy in mind.

You will own tasks from ideation to delivery, participate in on-call efforts, and grow your technical skills in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue).
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to own features from conception to delivery across multiple components.
• Strong communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to align on constraints and decisions.
• Monitor and support metrics, on-call efforts, and reliability of artifacts.
• Contribute to team growth through interview process participation.
