Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Software Engineer II within Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) to build high-traffic consumer web experiences and measurement systems. You will work with a modern web stack across React, TypeScript, shared components, testing, performance, and observability.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering to ship reliable experiences while ensuring privacy considerations are built in from the start.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React/Vue).
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript and writing testable code.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to balance constraints and risks.
• Support operations by monitoring metrics and contributing to on-call efforts.
• Engage in growth and development activities, including interviews.
