Job summary

AFFIRM's Marketing & Privacy Engineering team builds privacy‑aware web experiences and measurement systems. As a Software Engineer II on MPE, you’ll ship high‑traffic features in React/Typescript and contribute to analytics, tagging and marketing integrations.

You’ll partner with Product, Design, Analytics and Data Engineering to deliver reliable experiences and grow ownership of scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineer experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Able to design solutions that interact with multiple components and write clear, well-tested code.
• Comfortable navigating large codebases and providing code-review feedback.
• Proactive about personal growth and seeking feedback from team.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics to align on constraints and risks.
• Support operations by creating/monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts.
• Contribute to team growth through interview participation.
