Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Software Engineer II in Marketing & Privacy Engineering to build high-traffic web experiences, experiments, and marketing integrations. You’ll work with React, TypeScript and a modern web stack across analytics, tagging and measurement platforms.

You’ll partner with Product, Design, Marketing and Data Engineering to ship reliable features at scale, contribute to on‑call reliability, and grow technical ownership within a remote‑first, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to take a simple problem to a solution across multiple components.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics in ideation and decisions.
• Monitor metrics and support on‑call reliability.
• Engage in growth and development activities, including interview participation.
