Brightpoint Community College is seeking a Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, accessible websites and digital tools. You will collaborate with Content Strategists and IT to ensure brand alignment and robust performance across devices.

Responsibilities include DevOps integration, analytics usage, and building dashboards, with opportunities to leverage AI tools and APIs. This is a hybrid role based at the Midlothian campus, with some remote flexibility as needed.

Qualificações

• Proven work experience developing and maintaining interactive websites and digital applications.
• Strong understanding of web development, UX, design fundamentals, and content management systems (CMS).
• Experience with HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript; MySQL; development tools (yarn/npm, VS Code, Git/GitHub); SharePoint design; integrating AI tools into workflows; APIs and Salesforce integrations; dashboard support; and LLM-driven automation.
• Outstanding communication, project management, time management, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn new technologies and trends.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; criminal background check is required for employment.

Responsabilidades

• Web Development & Maintenance: Build, update, and maintain dynamic, interactive, and responsive websites and digital tools.
• Accessibility Compliance: Ensure digital assets meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align web design with branding and content strategy with Creative Services.
• IT & DevOps Integration: Support DevOps and integrations with OIT and internal applications.
• Campus Engagement: Collaborate with faculty and staff to translate needs into web solutions.
• Data & Analytics: Use Google Analytics, GTM, Siteimprove to identify trends and opportunities.
• API & Salesforce Integrations: Maintain APIs and Salesforce integrations to connect systems.
• Dashboards & Reporting: Support dashboards and data-informed digital solutions for departments.
• LLM-Enabled Applications: Use LLMs and AI tools to support integrations and workflows.
• Project Management: Identify needs, plan, and deliver projects on time and budget.
