Baird is seeking an experienced Software Developer for the Baird Online platform in a hybrid Milwaukee/Madison setting. You will build, refine and support robust, secure web applications for PWM clients, applying modern front-end practices and solid engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated software development experience in modern web apps.
• Hands-on experience with .NET stack including C#, MVC, Web API and related technologies.
• Experience building responsive UI with React and Next.js for client-facing portals.
• Strong SQL Server and database design knowledge to support web/mobile experiences.
• Ability to design, implement and test secure, high-performance software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, refactor and enhance Baird Online front-end and back-end features.
• Apply SOLID, DRY, and single-responsibility principles in scalable web apps.
• Plan, estimate and own moderate user stories with clear tasks and milestones.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts and other developers in Agile sprints.
• Implement tests, reviews, and release practices to ensure quality.
