Job summary

California State University, Stanislaus is seeking a detail-oriented Student Assistant to support the Web Services Team in Strategic Communications and Marketing. You will assist with website content management, accessibility checks, SEO improvements and digital asset preparation while collaborating with university departments.

The role offers hands-on Drupal experience, forms creation, and opportunities for basic graphic design work under supervision.

Qualifications

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other computer programs.
Effective communication skills and dependable task follow-through.
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in minimum six Fall/Spring units.

Responsibilities

Edit, update and maintain pages on the csustan.edu Drupal website.
Fulfill website work orders and perform content edits, image handling and links.
Post, resize and optimize images for web use.
Review content for accessibility and SEO optimizations.
Assist with website content audits and identify outdated content.
Build and maintain forms using Microsoft Forms.
Coordinate with departments for website requests and edits.
Provide Drupal troubleshooting assistance; training will be provided.
Support digital marketing via website updates, landing pages and SEO.
