Job summary

CSU Stanislaus in Turlock seeks a motivated student assistant for the Strategic Communications and Marketing office to support the Web Services Team with the university website.

You'll gain hands-on experience in content management, accessibility, SEO, and digital marketing, performing edits, image optimization, and audits under supervision.

This temporary hourly role starts Sept 14, 2026 and ends May 31, 2027, with potential reappointment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other computer programs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Dependable and able to follow through on assignments.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with appropriate follow-through.
• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Responsibilities

• Edit, update and maintain pages on the university Drupal site.
• Fulfill content edits, page updates, images, links and routine changes.
• Post, resize and optimize images for web use.
• Review content for accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Assist with content audits, fixing broken links and improving structure.
• Build and maintain forms using Microsoft Forms.
