Job summary

The California State University seeks a Web Content Migration Specialist (Temporary) in San José to oversee the 10,000+ page sjsu.edu redesign. You will audit, strategize, and execute content consolidation, while coordinating with the UMC team to meet accelerated timelines.

You will analyze GA4 and other tools to justify content decisions, maintain migration spreadsheets, and report progress. This is a one-year benefited temporary appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating large-scale website content portfolios (10,000+ pages).
• Strong project management and tracking skills, including Asana.
• Knowledge of marketing basics and web analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and manage a large-scale website content footprint (10,000+ pages).
• Develop a content governance framework with the Director of Integrated Marketing and Content Strategist.
• Audit content and plan migration actions with the Content Strategist.
• Identify outdated or confusing content for rewrite, removal, or reorganization.
• Organize content for external and internal university audiences.
• Analyze data in GA4, GSC, CrazyEgg, SEMrush to justify decisions.
• Create detailed project and migration spreadsheets and pivot tables.
• Build timelines and report progress for content migration.
• Leverage Asana to track overhaul progress.
• Collaborate with the UMC web team and agency of record on requirements.
• Attend ongoing meetings and follow website redesign guidelines.
