Job summary

The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America seeks a Web Content Manager to govern and update our CMS in Contentful, within the Enterprise Content Team, ensuring consistency across our web platforms. You will work closely with compliance and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality content and drive governance across digital properties.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Contentful CMS governance and editorial workflow experience.
• Experience with Workfront for content project management.
• Familiarity with Seismic for content distribution.
• Strong brand consistency and writing style adherence.
• Proven ability to manage content operations and approvals.
• Working knowledge of HTML and digital content production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of AP style and newsroom-like editorial standards.
• Strong organization, time management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Comfort using AI content tools with strong editorial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Project manage content updates in Workfront; coordinate with writers and ensure tagging consistency.
• Edit and create pages across platforms in Contentful; update advisor content in Seismic.
• Collaborate with creative teams for image sourcing and resizing; send previews to requesters.
• Review broken links and expiring content; generate reports and coordinate sunsetting with owners.
• Support governance through content audits and inventory management; ensure compliance.
• Assist with content planning using enterprise AI tools while maintaining quality and compliance.
