Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a seasoned Web Application Project Manager to oversee a complex, enterprise-scale modernization program from a contract basis in Orange, CA. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, vendor partners, and stakeholders to deliver integrated web components on schedule and within scope.

The role emphasizes proactive RAID management, weekly status reporting, and strong leadership to drive governance, risk mitigation, and change control in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems or a related field.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Expert knowledge of MS-Project, Visio, and MS Office tools.
• Proven experience as a Program or Project Manager.
• Understanding of System Development Life Cycles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Self-starting, with high attention to detail.
• Skilled at tactfully driving and managing internal and external stakeholder interactions and vendor delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule.
• Weekly updates of the schedule and project artifacts.
• Collaborate with teams and vendor to gather deliverables and milestones.
• Create realistic timelines for delivery.
• Compile weekly status reports and conduct status meetings.
• Assess progress and deviations from the schedule.
• Ensure deliverables are captured in weekly reports.
• Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor team members and foster collaboration.
• Manage change and assess impact of changes on the project.
