Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Software Applications Developer I in Anaheim, CA, onsite. You will maintain and develop business applications, ensure compliance with accessibility standards, and support migration efforts between domains. Strong C#/Java and SQL skills, plus experience with reporting tools, are desired.

The role requires collaboration across teams, adherence to processes, and availability for production support during business hours. A BS in CS/CE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
• At least two years in applications development using C#, .NET, Java or another OO language.
• Minimum one year of hands-on SQL coding experience.
• Working knowledge of relational DBs such as MS SQL Server or Oracle; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain applications with upgrades and patch maintenance.
• Develop and maintain applications and interfaces.
• Gather requirements and document specs for apps, reports, and interfaces.
• Remediate applications for WCAG/ADA accessibility compliance.
• Migrate/test business apps from .net to .gov domains.
• Enforce migration, testing and maintenance processes.
• Provide production support for applications and interfacing systems.
• Prioritize fixes and change orders with target dates.
• Follow business processes for support activities.
• Ensure root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors for support.
• Support 24x7 operations and be onsite during business hours.
