Job summary

Toast is seeking an AI Solutions Specialist for Web to design and scale AI-driven web production workflows. You will automate production steps, harmonize content validation, and improve on-site experiences using first-party AI tools.

You’ll partner with Web Platform, CRO, PMM, SEO, Legal and Brand to cut cycle times, raise conversion, and ensure governance. This role emphasizes independent execution and strong communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in web operations, web production, CRO/growth, marketing technology or solutions engineering, with recent hands-on AI building.
• Shipped AI agents or automated workflows that teams use every day.
• Experience running or redesigning a website production process (CMS, intake, review, release). Contentful preferred.
• Experience designing experiments and tying website changes to pipeline.
• Experience with evals, monitoring and guardrails for customer-facing AI.
• Clear communicator with technical and non-technical teams, with experience training others on new tools. Works independently end to end.

Responsibilities

• Map the page and copy the production process, including SEO, PMM, Legal and Brand checkpoints, and build AI workflows to cut cycle time.
• Standardize requirements intake with templates, intake agents and automated briefs.
• Build efficiencies in Contentful, its plug-ins and connected tools with Web Platform engineering.
• Find and fix bottlenecks in the web scrum process, from prioritization through deployment.
• Assist in building AI-powered experiences that improve visit-to-opportunity conversion.
• Build first-party AI tools for use on the Web, including prompts and evals.
• Configure and improve third-party tools: on-site chat, data enrichment, voice AI and personalization.
• Set guardrails for AI on the public website with Legal, Brand and Privacy.
• Define success metrics, run experiments to prove impact, and monitor live tools.
• Build reusable systems, and document playbooks so teams can run tools on their own.
